Favorite Song

The purpose of this song is for Adele to persuade her lover to stay with her for one more night. Adele's audience in for most her songs is very universal, and this song is no different. I feel that her main audience may be composed of women because she sings a lot about love, loss, and emotion. However, I know that many men love her music as well. Her writing provokes strong emotion. She uses the rhetorical appeal pathos relentlessly in this song and a lot of her other ones. In fact,Adele is known for making people cry and reminisce about past loves. The lyrics are passionate and heartfelt, as is Adele's style. Her voice is raw and powerful, conveying the power of her sadness about her dead relationship. Her voice is also desperate, like her lyrics. She is almost begging her lover to stay with her for the entire duration of the song.
