The purpose of this comic is to tell an entertaining narrative about a snowman killing and eating another snowman, which is a rather morbid joke for a humorous comic. The audience would be made up of people that like comics, probably younger people. The rhetorical appeal used is pathos because the comic strip is appealing to peoples' sense of humor. The media is print originally, but in this case it is digital. The mode is visual and text based. The style is simple, which adds to the charm of the comic. The aforementioned dark humor is also a common style of Calvin and Hobbes comics. This comic could easily be adapted into a short live action video where a child has a conversation with his stuffed tiger about the snowman murder. However, I think that the original comic version is the best format because a live action video would take away from the style of the comic. I also think that this narrative would make a great humorous short poem, but I also think that it would take away some of the visual humor of the comic. On the other hand, A movie, TV show, or podcast would be much to long for this comic to be adapted into.
